Level Magic™ from Junger Audio relies on a sophisticated new adaptive level control algorithm capable of adjusting the right audio level from any source at any time. Transient Processing + Peak Limiting for continuous unattended control of any program material.

With Level Magic™, the desired Operating Level and Peak Level are dialled in once and thereafter, Level Magic™ will give continuous control, regardless of the source - without touching the sound of the audio material. No breathing, no pumping, no spectral changes. Just well controlled dynamics!

Level Magic™ is offered in three different hardware solutions.

The Junger d06, a 2-channel audio processor with both analogue and digital inputs and outputs.

All other parameters required for inaudible processing of the dynamic range are automatically controlled by the program signal and are constantly optimized. The digital filter processor e07 is a high quality studio device for audio production and mastering. It brings the sound of the best analog filters into the digital world. The primary feature of this new unit lies in its ability to process audio in the digital domain using digital filters operating at higher sample rates. Increasing the sample rate to 88.2 or 96 kHz, the "High Sampling Mode" does not limit the magnitude and phase response of the filtering process to 22 or 24 kHz as most digital filters do. Doubling the sample rate increases the audio range that can be processed. High frequencies are faithfully reproduced in the same vibrant and natural manner as the finest analog filters.

The digital filter processor Model e07 is a 4-band parametric equalizer. It is possible to use each filter band as a normal parametric or as a dynamic equalizer, i.e. a digital de-esser. An integral digital limiter prevents clipping of boosted signals. The Model e07 is a 24 bit device sampling at 96kHz and is designed specifically for the highest quality mastering, high resolution recording and reproduction.

The new digital transmission processor Model d07 enables optimized level control of audio signals in radio and TV broadcast operation. ORION is a high-quality multi-channel DSP-based digital audio processor, specialized for dynamic range processing of surround format audio. ORION is a combination of DSP-based hardware (19", 3HE), a remote control software for PC and a desktop remote control.

An external meter display for limiter reduction and a fan-less (Embedded PC), which plugs into the ORION hardware and makes an extra PC unnecessary, are opionally available. Since ORION is based on Jünger Audios C 8000 module Hardware, the audio input and output can each be either analog and/or digital, for which the customer can choose from a variety of interfaces.

The combination of a mic preamp with equalization and dynamics control is called voice processor. Despite the name, such devices may be used to record almost any instrument, and voice processors offering line-level inputs can also serve as additional dynamics and EQ processors during the mix. The voice processor concept is well accepted. Whether for convenience, as a means to avoid the console or as an analog front-end for a workstation, voice processors have become a popular studio tool.

The Voice And Monitor Processor V01 is a high quality digital voice processor and monitor control unit. It should serve as a convenient input interface for audio workstations and has inputs for microphone, further analogue and digital signal sources.

The processor has automatic gain control for all input channels so that the output of the device when connected to a workstation is constantly at optimum signal level. The combination of a high quality microphone preamplifier and an integrated digital Voice Processor guarantees the desired sound settings from the microphone input. All input signals and the processor output can be monitored independently of the chosen recording function.

The device operates very simply, personal presets can be stored and loaded into the unit (50 memorys with 3 presets) or with the aid of rapid memory key. The unit is very easy to use and requires only a minimum selection of parameters in order to provide effective processing. Other parameters are controlled and optimised adaptively by the program signal, minimising the set-up time.

The device is planned as a universal audio interface for workstations in the radio and video broadcast field.
